Aim

Hot, humid, very little snow, lots of rain and strong wind are common in tropical and subtropical area such as Taiwan and other countries. The cultural practice, design and environmental control systems of greenhouses suitable for these areas should be different from those in other regions of the world. The aim of the symposium is to provide the opportunity for researchers and scientists from all over the world to discuss up to date of their work and to exchange ideas on all aspects of science, technology and industry for tropical and subtropical greenhouses.

Location

The symposium will be held at the convention center of the National Museum of Natural Science, Taichung, Taiwan. The museum, founded in 1986, is now one of the major landmarks of the central part of Taiwan. The city locates 1.5 to 2 hours away from the CKS International Airport by car. Transportation will be guided for the international guests at the Airport.

Language

The official language of the symposium is English.

Climate

The temperature is between 25 and 30 degree C in April. Please check the Symposium's Web Site for the "7 days' forecast" for more detail.
